All of the bags are sewn on vintage German industrial machines using canvas, thread, rope and webbing manufactured in the USA, even the drawstring cord toggles are made in Oregon - that?s the hard way to make a bag. Our costs per bag exceed the cost of a finished shoulder bag or backpack from a BIGBOX store - so we make bags for a different reason. We make beautiful bags knowing that they will last 20 - 30 years or more. We make bags that make it fun to WALK to the market and back (shoulder strap makes it easy to haul a full load of groceries back to the crib).
